24 days and counting!

I cant believe the wedding is coming up so quickly! It seems I still have so much to do but I will be in Dallas this weekend tying up as many loose ends as possible and I am picking up my dress! Im so excited! I still have to find shoes and a tiara but I have everything else.

Im so excited to see my family and friends. Although it is disappointing that so many cannot make it to the wedding I will still have some of the most important people in my life there.

The other day I checked my hotmail account which I dont check regularly. I am registered for my high school at Classmates.com and every now and then I will get an email from them. I was about to delete one when I read that I had a quick note. Curious as I am I checked who it was from. It was from Jason Hall. He wrote Hey, its been a long time. Lets get back in touch. Thats interesting. That is the second ex boyfriend from high school that has written to me on classmates.com. This guy was tall, dark and handsome was on the football team and was somewhat of a trouble maker but he was HOT! He picked me up and we went to dinner (I cannot remember where) and then went back to his house to watch a movie. He rented some movie that was basically a porno. Mind you I was only 16 or 17 so I was somewhat embarrassed but he was so good looking. Anyway, we made out and did not have sex. He took me home and was basically a decent guy. I dont recall going out with him again after that. Two years later at a graduation party I met up with him again. He graduated the year before and I dont think he was doing much but living with his parents. But he drove a Harley so I ended up making out with him again and this time we were about to have sex and my friend Jenny and her boyfriend walked in on us. The next time I heard of him he was in jail for selling acid or something like that. He was in for 5 years. When he was finally out he was completely screwed up mentally. First of all I think he had been doing too many drugs to begin with but then while in jail he had a rough time and I believe he was someones bitch for the first year until he fought them enough I never got the full story but he was messed up. I wouldnt doubt if he still lives with his parents today. I always remember that I was so jealous of the rich kids with their nice homes, cars, etc. but now looking back a majority of them turned out to be losers and not amounting to much. Im not saying that I have amounted to something spectacular because I have not finished school but I actually got out of that town that sucks the life out of people and make them lazy. I did venture out and moved away from a psycho ex-boyfriend instead of staying with him to get treated like shit for years on end. OK, well I have completely gone off on a tangent. As much as it is tempting to be juvenile and email him back just to see what is going on with him I also hadnt thought of him for over 10 years. I am curious but sometimes being curious can just open a can of worms.

If I were younger I would have emailed him and talked to him and maybe tried to meet up when I was back in town and then realize that it was a mistake. I think it has something to do with getting attention from a boy that you had a crush on in high school that never amounted to much because every boy I really liked I was going to marry that man some day. It is so funny to think back on how crushed I was over a break up.

A girl I work with has bleach blonde Texas hair and is from Texas born and raised yall. Anyway, our boss was talking to her yesterday and he said you have such nice blonde hair, why would you dye your roots brown? That was too funny. Normally that would be offensive but they joke around daily.

A quick update on the Monster in-law: We actually had a nice visit when I went up to Cleveland with RML. She put him to work on power washing her house while she and I went to Kaufmanns to register. The stoneware set I picked out was her favorite so she bought 8 settings for us. I was in shock to say the least. She was also very nice and pleasant and we actually had fun. She wants to be a part of planning the rehearsal dinner, which is fine, but I can already see it cause issues. Shes trying to find somewhere to have it. I think that is somewhat hard considering shes never been there but we will see.

My Dad was giving me a hard time about having to wear a tuxedo because he wanted to wear his suit. My Dad is very practical and hates spending money when he doesnt have to. I finally TOLD him last night that he WOULD be wearing a tuxedo. I told him he could wear his suit to the rehearsal dinner and he laughed and said that is going to be a jeans event, right? I suppose it all depends on where we have it right?
